if ur given and , do u think u could algebra and trig bash until u get the final thing? past the first 2 lines its substitution and simplifying
so basically making u2 the subject and subbing in the equations and equating them?

but also the question has given only h = Rtan theta/4

it just means "for all", in this context it refers to all values of beta between 0 and pi/2 inclusive of those two numbers

it shouldn't be a hard proof, ill try do it in like half an hour after I finish my 4u integration

That's why. I completely skipped differential equations for Extension 1 Mathematics (it's not in MATH1131, only in MATH1231). I thought this would be a Mathematics Advanced question.

Yep. Probably in Engineering Mechanics or Physics 2A. They are all second term/third term courses though.

but adv doesn't have proj motion and also doesn't deal with compound angle formula

if you're allowed to simply just verify the solution, our range formula is

then we can trivially see that the range formula is equivalent
