this is what the worked answers looked like... i had the exact same diagram as what you did but the worked answers seem to be doing something different
(to be fair though this is the last answer of the ext 1 hsc so it makes sense its pretty hard)

Omdz I've just forgotten exact values exist in trig..... By any chance could it be something wrong with the answer given to the question? I would think otherwise but most the answers we get are 1-2 degrees off so it cannot be anything big thats wrong?
I dont see a problem with how u or I did it, I think its becoz the answer approximated to 60 degrees maybe?

nah that can't be, cuz I did 60 degrees and the answer would increase I checked

I will have a go at the problem, then I will have a better look at your method. I think so far it looks correct though.

what tf would my answer be even be accepted, I didn't even attempt to do allat working out and kinda stuck to resolving vectors? so is my answer still valid?
