Honestly best advice I can give (coming from a flat 75 student tbh) is to write about something that you're interested in that incorporates the prompt somehow.

that's smart, as long as it's prompt derived, yap about smth in your wheel house

for internal I did a (creative) based off personal experience but copped an 7/12 cos it was miles off the prompt, then in trials i did the same again, except I picked an idea closer to the prompt and got 12/12... personal experiences are powerful

my plan is to turn the core of my creative into a discursive, ive heard it said you need both sides, so ill probably do a paragraph or two on one, then switch to the other side, and try and have a stron unifying conclusion

surely they dont for back to back years...

yeah my internal wasn't an exam so I got a 13/15 on it, but my trial i got 11/12 cuz I kinda rambled a bit on one of my points but I basically made up my idea on the spot using the prompt.
