Yeah that works too but it could also make you partially give up on what you want to achieve
But honestly for me I do better when I do 0 study than when I study so much and end up doing poorly cause of anxiety. My anxiety is so bad that even when I get a tiny bit stressed my whole world comes crashing down so I just need to try and stop caring as much as possible. But obv I will care so I'll still put in some effort but not stress too much

I go home, eat, shower then I start studying at around 5ish, then I eat dinner at like 7 and then after that I work until like 8:30. But honestly most of the time I only get like 1-2 hrs of work done

hello guys, what does your usual day look like after school?
- bus home, arrive at around 3:50/4 pm
- Chill on my phone for like 10 min, then take a shower
- eat a full meal so like 4:45 to 5:30 ish (Sometimes i watch my tv shows lol)
- 5: 45 sit at my desk... try to get myself to do work
- continue sitting at my desk and be unproductive (me currently :3)
- eat dinner...depends on the day takes abt 30 min for me to finish eating (ranges from 7:30 - 9)
- actually get productive and finish my hw (this takes less time)
- study for subjects/get ahead on content (more time)
- sleep (9:30/10pm)

hello guys, what does your usual day look like after school?
on a good day, i have a snack and rest until like 4:30 ( i get home around 4 from bus) and then i'll do some work from around 5-6, taking some breaks in between, then i'll either get dinner ready and have a shower, or the other way around, then i'll procrastinate for a little bit then at around 8-bed time i'll do some homework and study as best as i can focus until i end up crashing out and going to sleep. :D

Firstly, it's normal to feel nervous or anxious about Year 12. It's quite an important year of your life, and if you play your cards right, you could end up getting into the course or degree you want. I know there are other ways into uni, but I'm not one of those people who tries to make people feel better by offering them an alternative path to the one they want. Myself like most people just want to get into the degree straight away, rather than spend an extra year in some college getting a diploma first.

To combat your nervousness I recommend taking your studies one step at a time. At the moment your HSC exams probably seem pretty daunting, not to mention your trials coming up sooner. At the end of the day, I believe that they will come when they do. There's no point worrying about the future now, just focus on what you can control in the present. Putting in the work now will help you feel more confident for those exams later.

For time management, writing a plan of what you want to do is the most important. Use your phone's note app as you go through classes to track homework, extra study or revision. I find that this is the best way to keep yourself accountable. Remember that you don't need to balance your classes each night, and if you don't finish a certain piece of homework, do not stress. I know it will suck, but sometimes weekends will allow you to catch up, or if you have study classes, then use those. Make sure also to include whatever extra curriculas in your timetable and plan around those.

Alternatively, an important thing with time management is to limit distractions. I loved playing clash during HSC, but to minimise how distracted I was, I often had to delete the app. I wouldn't recommend this to most people, but I would suggest keeping your phone in another room away from sight. This is really effective at not letting any notifications or emails distract you, and you'll find that you end up fitting in more 'effective study' compared to before.

Good Luck with your HSC!:D

Idk gaslight urself into thinking none of this counts. And throughout ur day just try to distract urself. Ik these are really bad tips but idk what else to do

also reverse psych but if u think ur nervousness will affect ur ability to do well then thinking of alternative paths will alleviate ur stress and you’ll actually be more likely to get straight into uni that way. Cause if u stress abt wanting to get into uni straight away that will actually be counter productive and the opposite may happen. So as long as it doesn’t affect ur productivity this could work

actually for most uni’s it doesn’t take an extra year cause after u complete the diploma u get straight into 2nd year with the rest. So ur not really wasting time and you’ll end up with the same degree whilst also not letting ur metna
