I recommend planning an imaginative, a discursive, and a persuasive. This is because when I walked into the exam room I had only had an imaginative planned and was caught blindsided by either a discursive or imaginative 🤣. That being said, if you walk into an exam needing to convert your imaginative into a discursive/persuasive, just use imaginative writing as a persuasive technique.

thats harder tho... why don't you write about something you are interested in? writing discursives are actually REALLY fun because you are just yapping abt and get marked for that. i wrote mine about humanity's enduring obsession with the morbid, and it was geniunely the only english essay that i didn't drag out for a week lol

Omg yeah if u have a discursive or persuasive u can just make ur imaginative have someone arguing to u about ur discursive or persuasive. And then u can turn ur imaginative into a discursive or persuasive by persuading people into believing ur imaginative stuff is real or smth idk

‘I went up to her and asked, do you have “Nowhere Girl” by B Movie? She did. She played

it and for a moment the room was drenched in feeling from the past: the feeling of

something unknown trying to get your attention, of not being quite able to see what it

is; of somebody trying to awaken somebody else; of trying to wake. Banal somewhere

was suddenly and beautifully infused with mysterious nowhere. It was a very small

moment but a lovely one. As this is a small but lovely song.’

Mary Gaitskill
