I went to a trial at Project for year 12 maths, so not year 10/11. Project is pretty expensive, but they offer a lot of support such as tutorials (which are kinda like private small-group tutoring lessons, except the tutors are a bit hit-or-miss), your own iPad (which has a lot of resources like past papers - might be more useful for yr 12 though), and good communication because their Ops (operations) staff are very helpful and nice. They also have very digitised homework and marking systems, which you might find useful.

If you want all that extra support, then Project could be a good choice. If you just want to learn content ahead of time, enjoy a competitive and high-performing atmosphere (i.e. you just want to shoot for those top marks and are willing to grind for it), or are looking for a lot of homework for practice, then yeah, maybe Du or Kurt would be better. But those places require a lotttt of dedication

Umm I don't go but a lot of my peers go. Kurt goes faster than school by maybe a term (??) or so, but they're known for giving realllyyy difficult questions and being very intense, as you're forced to do detentions if you get below a certain mark or smth. It's good if you want to get high marks but can't motivate yourself to achieve them.

Du has different streams. Some go a lot faster than school, some not as much, but generally you're a bit (or very) ahead depending on your school's schedule. I think they also offer accelerated classes, where you can take courses a year early. Honestly those are for maths-crazy people though, I can't imagine doing a whole course outside of school (actually I do my language externally, but this is MATHS ykyk)

(btw if you're really interested, you could always just do the 3-week trial at Project)

wayyyy more than just a term bruh. du and kurt accelerate the crap out of these courses. I'd assume if you're a student at ruse, going to project/matrix/whatever won't really cater for you more than these two do.

Mb, I didn't investigate OP's background, I was just giving general advice. I only said a term because I heard that Kurt was against accelerating way too much or smth? Do u go to either?

Also, as a high-performing maths student at a selective school who considered their options and decided against going to tutoring, I believe that u don't have to go to one of those two places to do well. It's just that most high performers congregate there, and it does give u some good resources and a motivation boost

Yeah Kurt is definitely a lot if you're new to this whole thing. Du could be helpful, although it doesn't hurt to investigate some of your other options like Project, because you can't really trial at Du once ur locked in there. It's 3 weeks for free, after all. Btw I literally sound like a salesperson but I SWEAR I'm not promoting Project, I don't even go there anymore.
