yes you have year 11 for three terms. its shorter. schools make up for it by having extra periods (or at least shouldve). you start year 12 in term 4 and then you have year 12 for the next three terms of next year. then you will sit your hsc in term 4 of next year.

isnt it dead shit obvious that we have school on term 4?

its not as bad as the original question

many schools actually haven't finished the course yet so they just finish it and then review everything when they do. the other schools who tend to just do straight revision. heaps of people don't turn up at all. but the school monitor your attendance after trials, for this reason as well as getting heaps of useful revision its good to show up.

end exams around november (earlier for some), start uni towards the end of february is a helluva lot longer than finishing high school in mid december to start the next year late jan/early february, don't you think?
