hey! I’m a 2024 HSC graduate offering Japanese beginners tutoring, as well as Chinese (beginners/continuers/extension) if that's needed as well

I mainly help with:

• oral practice (structured questions and more natural responses)
• marking and detailed feedback on writing tasks
• grammar explanations that actually make sense
• exam strategy and common HSC traps, everything no gatekeeping

HSC results

• Japanese beginners: 97/100 (state rank 4th)
• Chinese in context: 96/100 (internal rank consistently top 3)

What sessions look like

• 1-on-1 online
• very practical and exam-focused
• personalised feedback, not generic advice
• flexible scheduling (one-off or ongoing)

From my own experience, languages like Chinese and Japanese only really improve with a tight feedback loop. I used to lowkey annoy my peers and tutors asking for feedback all the time, so I get how slow school feedback can be, I’ll actually be on it and give consistent, honest feedback to support your prep, I'm super chill so use me as a resource!
