Hey guys, hope you're doing well
I have been stressing over what to drop for year 12 because software engineering is a new HSC subject, as it got changed from software design and development. The content has been confusing, maybe because most people have not been regularly revising for software and also software teacher is good, and all the exams are online, including HSC.
The problem is that for chemistry, the teacher is good, but I feel like there is too much content, and I already have for biology and investigating science; with chemistry, it is too many concepts to go through. I have been starting to hate chemistry.
So overall, software is a new HSC subject; the teacher has taught us the basics on how to code in Python; we had to revise and strengthen our understanding of coding. For chemistry, there is too much stress and so much content I need to learn. (My subjects right now in year 11 are biology, chemistry, investigating science, software engineering, English Standard and Math Standard.
