Then why are you here? Why are you supporting mass immigration?
You dorks benefittted massively from colonisation, but then you criticise it as something Europeans are responsible for. Having your cake and eating it too.
Do you think it benefits aboriginal australians to go from 3% of the population to 1%? 0.5%? Do you think when Indians and Chinese are the majority in Australia, things are going to improve for aboriginals? Indians don't even consider different types of Indians to be equal, you think they give a shit about aboriginals?
You have established that the percentage of aboriginal people is unimportant.borigines make up about 3.8% of the population today. But let's say it was 2%.
This is no way implies that 98% of aborigines died. They're such a small percentage of the population because Australia's population has grown by so much. Not a single aborigine could have ever been killed and they would still be a comparably small minority.
In fact, there are more aborigines alive today than at any point pre-colonisation. That is, the Australian indigenous population has grown since colonisation.
how are you actually this dumbYou have established that the percentage of aboriginal people is unimportant.
Then you established that the percentage of aboriginal people is important.
You are changing your argument to conveniently warp to every bullshit statement you make
I also like pancakes, however waffles are my top pick.how are you actually this dumb
i never said it's "unimportant"
I said that the fact that aborigianls are 2% of the population does not imply that their population has declined by 98% (in absolute terms - they were implying 98% of aborigines died off)
This is not a value judgement. This is not me saying something is important or not.
I literally just explained that they're 2% of the population because the non-aboriginal population has increased, not that the aboriginal population has decreased in absolute terms. They made a basic, basic error in numerical reasoning and I pointed it out.
Do you legitimately have an impairment that makes you unable to understand very basic things?
nah cl that was coldcope and seethe broke biatch
Strict immigration policies alone don’t automatically make a country racist, they’re often shaped by history, population size, and economics. Are chinese racist for having much stricter immigration policies than Australia and less ethnic diversity and representation?
Depends who you think represents AustraliaPS I thought Australia LOVED being a multi-national country. What's all this then?
Omg fr. The number of international students coming from developing countries with barely any proper educational background is crazy. Some of them are out here doing dangerous stuff (like speeding at 145km/h in a 40km/h zone) and it feels like they’re here without any real purpose except to cause more problems and commit crimes.\
they need to ban internation students, or only let in the best international students with equivalent atar of atleast 98 (basically non dei ivy league requirements the us has for asians)
I think just because an issue attracts the support of extremists, this doesnt make the issue less valid. Just like you can criticise Israel without being antisemitic. Or you can be critical of Hamas without taking away from the legitimate suffering/grievances of Palestinians. What’s happening here is different. White supremacist rallies are explicitly about racial hatred and exclusion.

I think the immigration debate is very valid and I dont think the arguments against it should be dismissed as racist.
Australia is a very tolerant place from a comparative perspective. I lived the first part of my life surrounded by ethnics and the last few years surrounded by "Aussies". Ethnics are way more racist than Aussies in my experience (Im 100% including my flavour of ethnics in that mix, we are way more racist than Aussies).PS I thought Australia LOVED being a multi-national country. I love how everyone here profile immigrants based on stereotypes and not factsOmg fr. They should only accept students who are genuinely capable of studying and being "normal".
Why can't ethnics be Aussies tho?Australia is a very tolerant place from a comparative perspective. We profile white Australia as being "racist" amongst other things, what's the difference? Every culture has its good and bad elements.I love how everyone here profile immigrants based on stereotypes and not facts![]()

Don't be so sure, the Greek, Italian, Balkan immigrants who came in the 60s and 70s faced similar issues when they arrived. Before then Im sure the Irish copped it as well. It's just human nature to be averse to "outsiders" - all ethnicities are racist to an extent, it's just less acceptable in some societies vs others.2. Sure mass-immigration can cause negative impacts to the Australian economy but the supporters would have a 0% problem if white people from other nations like European countries, USA, or Canada mass immigrated to Australia. It is clearly evident with a lot of neo-nazi leaders being cheered on by protesters in Sydney and Melbourne, and also people disrespecting a sacred Aboriginal camp area in Adelaide.
I definitely agree that immigrants must follow Australian rules and regulations, and not impose their culture on everyone else. But the White Australia which we are talking about in the protests want white supremacy, not a reduction of immigration. All races are equal here, and what is concerning is that hundreds of thousands went to rally against minorities, as proven in these pictures here.We profile white Australia as being "racist" amongst other things, what's the difference? Every culture has its good and bad elements.
The white supremacists undoubtly did huge damage to the cause by leading the protests. Also, I dont know what they were thinking attacking the Indigenous site - like, protesting against immigrants and then attacking the original inhabitants of the land. Nazi's were never the most intelligent people...Also, yes, I will admit that in the Palestinian protests, people did hold offensive and abhorrent signs such as "Death to Australia" and flags of terrorist groups like the Taliban. But, I haven't read any article that says that violence occurred against other people in these protests. However, in this protest, a brawl did occur between pro-palestinians and anti immigrants.
