My room’s plastered with things I need to memorise rn no joke English quotes, text years, organic chem, ion testing, 3/4 walls are taken up (only missing wall is the window so at least I can see grass but that might also be covered soon), maybe that will help if it’s not too late

bro i hate the way they teach english. i understand being tested for comp and maybe 1 written essay, but 3 essays?? with creatives and discursives?? then you are supposed to practice each one so many times??? like even if i were to be some type of english professor or phd holder i would never need to write a full-blown analysis of a text in FORTY MINUTES like likes be so fr how is this helping anyone???
