I think they should teach some level of psychology at school- not like english where you have an audience, but more like if you're in this situation these are some things you could to to achieve this purpose. Like emotional intelligence, wisdom, situational awareness, how to support your friends and other things like that, because honestly with the things that have been happening recently wellbeing should be more prioritised in schools. Also, it's easier to think when your head is clear and your cohort is there to support you, and you are there to support them.

u were a prefect before? i didnt know we could be prefect before year 12
My school has ‘junior prefects’ where you can be a prefect in yr 11 but then you’ll have to reapply for yr 12
in yr 11 there is no voting, you do an application and get an interview with the deputy, wellbeing headteacher and leadership headteacher and they choose based on who they like the most
in yr 11 they choose 8 (so i was one of the 8 selected from 23)

in yr 12 it‘s the same except they choose i think 15(?) and they do a voting in the hall, the people that vote are yr 10s and yr 11s (transitioning into yr 12) and then the top 11 get the leadership role
if there is equal votings (even tho its impossible due to the php) them 3 select
