i have a few questions about eas (applying for personal illness/disability but i dont have disability provisions)
  • can i submit multiple medical/educational impact statements? i basically saw whoever was available whenever i needed support so i saw a lot of people but nobody has the full picture understanding of what happened.
  • what kind of supporting evidence is allowed and what do each of these documents need to include (e.g. for medical certificates do i need to ask for the doctors to put their professional details such as provider numbers on it?)
  • what do i include in my impact statement to make it more effective? maybe im overthinking it but surely the way you write it makes a difference
  • any general tips???
@jimmysmith560 sorry to @ you but do you have any insight? thanks in advance to anyone that responds

1. You should be able to submit multiple statements, although I cannot absolutely confirm this. I would recommend contacting UAC directly as they would be able to clarify/confirm this for you.

2. Generally speaking, the more information you can provide, the better. It would make sense for the registered health professionals who have participated in your treatment to provide their professional details. With that being said, you may not necessarily need to get evidence from every single one of them, but rather as many as necessary to be able to present enough evidence. The registered health professionals are likely able to determine the appropriate type of supporting evidence, although it would always be good to double-check with UAC just to be safe.

3. Which statement are you referring to here? Regardless, the starting point should be to familiarise yourself with the aspects that you need to discuss, which are mentioned on the relevant UAC page. If you intend to submit an applicant statement, not only would it need to be in your own words, but you should also provide, in addition to the information required by UAC, as much detail as possible and constantly highlight the impact of your circumstances on your education. It would also be good to have someone review your statement and offer suggestions.

I hope this helps! 😄
