how bad was it even... anyways i don't think the teachers should expect amazing handwriting in english exams like we are already short on timeafter I got my english mark I was called to the english staffroom where I got chewed out for 5 minutes by 2 teachers for my handwriting
you find that modern and ancient history teachers can read most students „ illegible „ handwriting. i dont see why english teachers arent conditioned the samelol my friend the other day was like instead of complaining about our handwriting, eng teachers should practice reading bad handwriting lmao
to be honest when I saw my paper I didnt know what I wrote myselfhow bad was it even... anyways i don't think the teachers should expect amazing handwriting in english exams like we are already short on time
Think of it like a way to properly order subject marks so you can compare them to other subjects. So easy subjects scale quite badly, eg even if you get a mark of 80% on a test, it could be scaled down to 70% or so. Usually the harder the subject, the better it will scale. I'll give you two examples, a mark of 50% in Extension 2 Math will scale up to around 70% (add or take a bit!) but for something like Society and Culture, a mark of 70% could scale to 50% or 40%. Hope that helpsWell, i am, I just hear about scaling a lot but no one tells me what it means properly
