How can u get 99.95 without being all rounder?

very difficult cos the lowest aggregate for 99.95 is like ~480/500. so if you miss out on a band 6, lets say you get 80 as your final HSC mark, you're already right on the cutoff for 99.95 and you need to get basically full marks in all your other subjects for even a chance at 99.95.
2 band 5's, even if you're at an 89 is already enough to not get a 99.95.
so its doable, but very hard to get 99.95 whilst not being an all rounder

u can get a 99.95 without even being an all rounder by doing high scaling ubj

I wouldn't think so... 99.95 is the highest ATAR, achieved by like around 50 people each year. Whilst there maybe are some exceptions occasionally, i'd assume its near-impossible to get in the top 0.05 percentile of students without B6/E4 every subject.

Just realised thats wrong lmao. My brain lowkey isn't working these holidays i just automatically assumed everything was Mod 5 since it was from last term.. I meant to say the common mod (Religion post 1945)

Idk how i feel about mif. The explanations and questions are more beginner friendly then Cambridge, but sometimes aren't detailed enough. Cambridge is a pretty good textbook. I'd suggest using a combination of textbooks if you can get access to them, theres plenty of google drive folders and free pdfs out there!

hello guys, today i actually got quite a bit done :
math extension 2 (2.5 hours) :
-did a ton of inequalities questions (finally starting to get the hang of it. i still get a bunch of hiccups but its okay)
i did not intend to study mx2 for so long but istg even when i try resting, i can hear it calling for me

japanese (2.5 hours) :
-made notes on unit 8
-did some questions
-read some passages
this took me way longer than what it should've. ill try and be more efficient next time

chemistry (0.5 hours) :
-redid some trial paper questions (thankfully got them all right this time )

i wanted to do english as well but my brain is beyond fried rn. ill probs focus on chem, english and mx1 tomorrow.

Technically if someone was really ambitious they could work on mod c too cause it’s in my half yearlys. But atp those sort of people should just do the whole hsc already. But hopefully no one is doing this or else I’m gonna implode

nobody that is alive on this earth is that motivated to do engl*sh. people are probably funnelling their focus in their other subjects anyways.
and if somebody manages to do 3 modules of english whilst doing their other subjects, they're not human and instead a government plant to motivate us to study more

The second study of the year. didn't really do much today since I was busy doing other stuff.

Phys - Sorted through HSC questions and did some of them. (~1 hr)
Math - Did the 2020 BH paper (medium difficulty imo) and got 63/70. Had to stop to learn the binomial distribution though lol. I was extremely disappointed with binomial distribution, it was so easy (~2hrs)

for me it was kinda hard because even though i did rlly well for junior years the marking standards are different and the demands from english are much higher like everyone in my grade easily does well in English in junior years (probs v. lenient marking) but only like a handful do alright from 11 - 12 so i wouldnt rlly trust your year 10 marks unless youre fairly confident that ur school actually does prep u for senior ig
