You'd be quite surprised how many of the things they want are quite similar to what us in 2u math wish to achieve. I mean, you do 4u english is there anything super crazy you want to do after year 12?

My teachers have always said 4 at the absolute maximum if you have insane writing speed. You are all adv English so it might be difference but for standard the depth of the paragraphs goes down significantly above 3 paragraphs for most.

Well I normally do 3 but for mod A since it’s a comparative text maybe that’s why it’s different but the teacher was like 5 parra in 45mins but still like it’s too much

@Study to success is wow for how much lower the standard of English standard is compared to adv?

No lol. I just put wow for a lot of things. But 3 paragraphs is what lots of people do in advanced. The std isn’t really that much lower

However I think having a considerably lengthy essay does demonstrate to the marker that you have invested time and effort into preparing for and answering the question on the day. It could be a psychological trick...?

We skipped mod A. The teachers took the decision to commence mod b because the holidays means that everyone can get the novel done and at school we can purely work on analysis.

Real. I have not touched mod a like one bit. And my teacher expects to know all the facts like how old Sylvia plath’s children were at a certain time and I like how am I supposed to know that off the top of my head

After all of this I can once again deduce that English is my least favorite subject. I'd rather do investigating science

i wouldve done physics/biology instead of english if i had the chance

I was really close to picking chem along with bio. Then I wanted to do eco instead of chem or business but then the lines messed me up
