see the thing is I don't find meaning in the end result. lIke that will last 2 secs and no one cares abt the hsc.

then maybe the degree you want to do is not for you, you need to have something hanging over you that will make you go all in. for me personally it was getting into unsw law that made me survive year 12, you need to find something like that

bro ive been struggling with mental health since I was like in year 5 it's just this separate thing I have and like evne after the hsc I bet u I will still struggle

yes that’s the beauty of depression girly it does in fact linger but it’s probably more bad now because of the hsc and the stress, it won’t get better but it will pass

i promise you tens of thousands of students who are also sitting the hsc this year felt that exact same way too

then dont try so hard, get that 70 then, the only reason people work the way they do is because the degree demands that. If you can afford to relax, then relax.

These teachers arent going to see you next year they see thousands of students pass them by each year, if you depend your effort/happiness on them then you will be living in stress until the day the hsc ends

u have more choices (at least for me) with what u also want to learn for courses instead of being forced to learn topics ur teacher chose

and the school plays such an emphasis on trying ur best and so do I but like I just can't and dont need to which idk. I feel liek those drop kick rebels. I swear those kids are trying harder than I am tho

yeah and that's why I need to reconsider what im doing all of this for cause now im realising that I was never doing thsi for myself. It was the for the approval fo others and conforming with the rest of everyone to fit in and also cause it's the easiest, safest route

This is true
I had a pretty ehhh time in year 12 (to the extent where my teachers were concerned without me saying anything…) but I got through it in the end. I’m sure if I can do it you guys will be able to as well. It might feel hard at times but you’ll surprise yourself with how you can persevere
