Super simple...... I don't think I signed up for 2+ hours of pure torture but I've done 2A (i may do the questions tmr cause my understanding is cooked). Whyyyy are there so many words how on earth do you remember all of this. All these words are warped beyond my recognition. I had to google, ai. And the proof symbols are so cooked they overcomplicate everything but thankfully its probably not compulsory. There was no algebra @f7eeting I'm literally dazed after reading that but remember how i said I disliked the book format. It has grown on me or it's probably that my brain isn't functioning properly. mex1 is one thing but idek what to classify this as.....

proof was intimidating to me at first too, but after i started getting used to the notation i felt that it was just things we've always been using in math (and even just logical arguments in general) but more formalised with symbols
proof actually does use algebra quite a lot once you get past the definitions, but most of it is very basic, like yr 10 stuff

See, I started at 11:30pm around (idk why i wasted 3/4 of my day doing nothing) and it was supposed to be "super simple" and only take me 30 minutes. The issue is that I didn't know like 3/4 of the vocabulary and any of the symbols, so I actually had to understand from scratch (I've literally forgotten everything after sleeping) so ig I'll revise this and try the actual proof today that root 2 is irrational. It wasn't supposed to take as long as it did, i'll just say that

now that you've learnt all the definitions, the proof for root 2 won't take very long
and i promise you once you finish and understand the proof it'll be very satisfying

I hope I have passed the worst already For even simple things the notation is nightmarish i can't even imagine for more complex proofs

you defo have. the proof for sqrt2 is irrational really just needs to have basic knowledge on what rational numbers are and a rough idea on proof by contradiction

I feel like proof is the kind of topic where they can give you pretty much anything but so in that way its kind of like trig identities where the only way to get better is to do loads of questions right?

yeahh the range of questions you can get asked for proof is quite a lot, but ill try and master as many as i can before the assessment
i really really wanna maintain rank 1 so i need to work hard

for module 6 of chemistry, how in depth should i know the applications of neutralisation reactions? and how many should i know?

I did antacids, adjusting soil acidity, swimming pool acidity and neutralisation in the solvey process in decent detail. Anything else as long as you vaguely know whats happening its fine. Just go by 1 everyday process, 1 agricultural process and 1 industrial process for neutralisation and that would be enough.
