I had task 1 sac a few weeks ago, I have 5 exams + a Dt assessment and then I have to do task 1 of std math. I also have a ton of major work submission check ins. idk how im survivingHow do you have 8?
well in the hsc you are going to write 3 essays in 2 hours ( 3x40 minutes) by hand so it’s good practicemy school making me do 40 mins, genuinely my hand is finished idk how ts is possible
my co-ed school has quite a number of girls taking physics but yeah that it an interesting point to bring up in how it look like in a all girls schooli was looking at the course enrollments for 2025, and while most subjects between both male and female students are rather equal (save for physics… hey girls, especially ones in all girls schools, does physics typically run for you? What stopped you or your peers from choosing physics?) why is it that biology has almost double the female students?
also heres the website if you wanna check it out: https://www.nsw.gov.au/education-and-training/nesa/hsc/facts-and-figures/enrolment-data/courses
I go to an single sex school so I wouldn't be able to comment, but physics and chem are definitely more popular than bio (probably because it scales higher but oh well)i was looking at the course enrollments for 2025, and while most subjects between both male and female students are rather equal (save for physics… hey girls, especially ones in all girls schools, does physics typically run for you? Do you reckon there’s a correlation with higher maths (like the 4u math kids take physics?)I go to an single sex school so I wouldn't be able to comment, but physics and chem are definitely more popular than bio (probably because it scales higher but oh well)
i go to an all girls school and physics always runs for usi was looking at the course enrollments for 2025, and while most subjects between both male and female students are rather equal (save for physics… hey girls, especially ones in all girls schools, does physics typically run for you? my school runs it. both my schools did (i know my current one does, im pretty sure my old one does too)i was looking at the course enrollments for 2025, and while most subjects between both male and female students are rather equal (save for physics… hey girls, especially ones in all girls schools, does physics typically run for you? Yeah, it’s honestly pretty hard to find courses that require something like chem or physics as a prerequisite, and I think because bio is not as mathematical as the other sciences it’s tremendously more popular.biology is more common bc lots of people want to go into courses that need biology as a prereq eg nursing or anything in the med field
engineering is still a common course that people want to do in uni ofc but not as much as things to do with med in my school (hence why we have 1 class for physics and 3 for biology)
i hate bio.Bio is the most goated subject![]()
Physics is second to that
I can't memorise anything anymoreWhy bro its so fun. Bio/physics combo on top
physics > Bio easilyBio is the most goated subject![]()

don't we have 4 or at least we used to for bioi go to an all girls school and physics always runs for us

i fell victim to this too and chose biology over physics bc i wanted to pursue med in yr 10![]()
