in australia universities are not like the american ivy-leagues, as long as you get the required WAM you will be able to transfer easily into any non med degree really. your only benefit at the top 8 is quality of education is higher, so its easier to do well.Is transferring between Go8 universities typically more straightforward or given more leniency than transferring from a non-Go8 university? Just wondering
what you may struggle with is UoC transfers (units of credit) which essentially lets your courses at one uni count towards your degree at another. UTS and macquarie tend to share courses with UNSW / USYD etc so yah. remember universities are for profit and they WANT you to come, they are unlikely to deny you unless you are below a low credit (60 or less) in your current degree
