yah its the same, your HSC (major work) performance will directly be both your internal AND external performance

i feel like this is so stupid for a MW. like i get it w/ exams where we all answer the same q, but i don't see how my short film can be like scaled w/ my friends short fiction on completely different topics + then have a portion of rank and someone elses rank aswell, cause i feel like all the MW are so unique its kinda not fair in a way.

the thing with English extension 2 is that the assessments are all related to the progression of your major work, so those who have a shit major work get punished with a bad mark internally anyway. at least thats how it was at my school? was urs different?

no it was the same but i was rank 3rd until like halfway through the yr cause then i got marked down bcs my "MW wasn't polished enough yet" but my tecaher had just told me to submit my raw footage + the bits id edited so far and i woudn't be marked down...i ended up 8th out of 12...instead of 3rd

I bet that's what my teachers at school do lol. They always gossip and they have a session every friday at recess (my bio teacher admitted to it). once I got an email from one of the science teachers that I got into this big comp and then like 20mins later my homeroom teacher found out. Once in year 9 my music teacher showed my year co my assessment performance and then she randomly came up to me telling me about it lol
