I wouldn't include the mention of form/features in your thesis, from my interpretation, I would just reflect that I used forms and features in my analysis of the text but im not sure if thats the right way

If you can remember your skeleton draft i.e your analysis and quotes, then you're mostly fine? I personally don't memorise essays in order to give myself some leeway for adaptation.
