I aced year 11 chem but I fell off so hard in year 12 it might be my worst subject (worse than 4U or English somehow) after being the best last year
I might be cooked (also haven’t studied since trials💀)

It's a fucking boring subject. Year 11 chemistry is also much more interesting than year 12. Year 12 chemistry is so abstract and genuinely retarded

I actually like organic spectroscopy, I hate all the memorising like the processes for mod 8 IQ 3, and all of the experiments

imo Year 12 has good modules and bad modules, but I like it more than year 11

wow really? I agree on mod 5 but I hate mod 6 - I like mod 7 and the spectroscopy questions of 8
I just found it more interesting. Yes, whilst organic was interesting, I found that it was taught on a very superficial level (at least in my school).

Yeah that’s understandable, my school made mod 6 boring (our assessment was a science report)

honestly my favourite qs are the spectroscopy ones bc to me they’re like fun little puzzles!

are they actually? I’ve only been learning off school and questions, glad I didn’t buy one then

Why are we even doing organic chemistry in high school?
ykw that’s so true
It always bothered me we didn’t do skeleton structure lol
Maybe it’s cuz they want us to have baseline understanding of all the different kinds of topics uni chem covers?
