i really like that question, much better than our school's one last year, tysm for sending it2024 cssa question was:
"Individuality and identity are as much about what separates as what unites."
To what extent does your prescribed text reflect the ideas in the above statement?
honestly not a bad question, just reword it --> "individual and collective human experiences shape human qualities"
i definitely could not write about that for my last paragraph in my merchant of venice essayi really like that question, much better than our school's one last year, tysm for sending it
Tbh I hate reflection so I hope itβs a full 20 marker but I can understand this as wellmod c sucks because I usually think more then I write no matter the piece thats given I just hope its not a full 20 marker. Divided with a reflection would be better
yeah but the thing with the 20 marker is they can choose whatever and expect you do a great 20 marker based on a random one they picked but if its divided it would be fair for the reflection to weight it up in a way if I make senseTbh I hate reflection so I hope itβs a full 20 marker but I can understand this as well
oh yes thatβs trueβif itβs random and doesnβt relate to any of my stories I will cryyeah but the thing with the 20 marker is they can choose whatever and expect you do a great 20 marker based on a random one they picked but if its divided it would be fair for the reflection to weight it up in a way if I make sense
THE TIME I DID A REFLECTION I GOT 7 OUT OF 10oh yes thatβs trueβif itβs random and doesnβt relate to any of my stories I will cry
Reason Iβm not a fan of reflection is just cuz of time I ran out of time last time, just gotta get better I suppose![]()
Oooh an exact balance of 10/10 I think Iβd struggle because my story is too long, if thereβs a reflection my dream is 5 and 15THE TIME I DID A REFLECTION I GOT 7 OUT OF 10I would rather a balance of 10 and 10 but I can only dream
thats good too!! I just hope its not a weird balanceOooh an exact balance of 10/10 I think Iβd struggle because my story is too long, if thereβs a reflection my dream is 5 and 15

my second paragraph is about limitations of women but im really only talking about portia, i would link it to the question by saying her experiences of being curbed by her father's will is an individual experience, but represents the overall collective experience of women during the context due to their limited rights + expectations for them to remain in the domestic sphere. then i would link it to the development of human qualities by saying that her limitations influenced the development of her qualities of agency and determination in taking control of her own will (juxtaposed to her father's will) by singing that goofy song to bassanio, and also by subverting gender as a whole when dressing as a man in the court scene.i definitely could not write about that for my last paragraph in my merchant of venice essay
been sitting here thinking about how to adapt it but it's about portia![]()
yea my mod c exam was 12 and 8 which was pretty interestingthats good too!! I just hope its not a weird balance![]()
