YO @watermelonenjoyer YOU'RE DOING AMUS/BMUS?? (the thing in your signature) what for?

hmmmmmm probably
1. do your homework. catching up is such a pain, it's okay if you don't make notes and stuff, but if you do ur hw then it'll be in the back of your brain for when you inevitably have to come back to it
2. don't let anybody else influence what you decide to keep/drop, your subjects are yours alone

and probably some stuff about not worrying about exam marks bc of the way moderation works but I'm too lazy to explain that rn

find joy in your work. passion produces the most genuine and (usually) good quality work, be it maths, english, or art. its important that the subjects you choose are ones you will enjoy, i think passion is the number one priority factor to account for when picking/considering dropping subjects. if that means gaslighting yourself into enjoying english then you gotta do what you gotta do.

Im not a 25’ but dont leave anything to the last minute. You might tell urself that u have time but trust me dont do that. Its so much better to start slowly and early then forcing urself to do everything the last minute (and its way more stressful)
UR A MOD NOW???

also my tip is to ask questions anytime ur confused

wait that's so cool!!! how does it work at ampa? what is ampa? (I only recognised the names, 'cause I know amus and lmus from ameb but if you're doing it with bmus then I assume it's a bit diff bc the amus I know is totallyyyyy separate)

study every terms content during the holiday before. then during the term, you just need to consolidate your knowledge instead of stressing with assessments piling up.
and try to be consistent with every subject. don't hyperfixate on one and neglect others... talking from personal experience:(

I mean I’m not a 25er but i would say don’t pick SAC or SOR lmao. And also enjoy ur life in junior years and pls don’t lock in. Just play games in all ur subjects especially in yr 7 and 8 lol
yes pls don't take prelims too seriously. i remember it feeling like the most important thing in my life (and i remember year 12s at the time telling me to chill and i didn't listen to them, so i get you), but it REALLY doesn't matter. it really doesn't.

I agree with you though I fear that will be a never-ending cycle - we stressed back then but then realised it didn't matter, and we tell others not to stress but they will anyways, and so on and so on

Stress is inevitable but don't let it control you!
