In year 11, I dropped Engineering studies because - just judging from the year 11 content - I thought it would be much harder. But now that I am familiar with the content of Physics and EXT 2 maths and chemistry, I regret dropping it so much and wish I kept it.

For some context, the rest of this year is me bludging because I don't really care what my ATAR is, I am taking a gap year anyway doing alternate pathways and actually doing stuff bcoz I am SOO burnt out already, and I want to focus on my passions and my mental health right now. Since I am REALLY passionate about mathematics and STEM, I want to spend most of my time doing that.

But the issue is, I am worried that after the gap year next year I would have forgotten everything for Engineering and the basics and etc. I am spending the (big) majority of my time doing MX1 and MX2 and (like 60% to 70% of my time) and some time next year on it, so I am not too worried about the mathematics aspects of it.

TL;DR: How can I teach myself the engineering basics from Engineering Studies so that I don't forget them b4 uni in 2027? ty!

I'm pretty sure there are resources out there you can use to teach yourself abt engineering, but then again as far as I know you don't need engineering studies as a prerequisite or even assumed knowledge for a uni degree based around engineering because it doesn't say that it is a direct requirement on the assumed knowledge columns and I'm sure that they actually teach you whatever content would have been involved in that course within the actual classes of the university degree if need be.

above is the assumed knowledge for "UNSW Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)" No mention of engineering studies whatsoever. However, it does mention MAX1 and Physics which you actually do which means u should be algds in that regard.

doesn't matter, its just a rote learning course anyway
