dunno. apparently they make a conclave between 15 and 20 days after death but can be sooner if the cardinals agree. dunno how long it takes the conclave to make the new pope.

it’s quite a task because they have to come from many countries

i think at the moment their first task is the funeral

The only sorta research I've done is like
1. Google the candidates LMAO

And also reading the Wikipedia pages of every pope from like 1200s I just like the look of their portraits and also it's sorta crazy to me how much power the pope used to have

I have a bit of an obsession with the middle to late Holy Roman Empire middle as in starting from Sigismund idk like proper timelines
