hello, i recently got gateway offers back and i didn't get my top preference of double law and instead got given commerce. i was planning on doing arts/law and i know i'm definitely not getting a 97+ atar and i didn't do the lat bc of gateway, so i think i'm going to ipt to law in my second year. however, upon receiving this offer i also don't mind doing commerce and later transferring to comm/law.

internally transferring to law in my second year means i would need a pretty decent wam, so my question is should i apply for a bachelor of arts in round 2 of gateway or stick with commerce before transferring to double law? currently at school i'm doing pretty well for my humanities subjects (english adv, ancient & modern his, sor2) and i don't do any commerce-related subjects like business or economics, i just do maths advanced so i don't know if i would do well in commerce. i know this then makes my answer pretty obvious, but i want to do a degree that gives me a better advantage in the future and i'm scared if i end up doing arts it's way harder than i expect so i'll end up tanking my WAM, ultimately making me stuck with a bachelor of arts where i would rather be stuck with comm.

again, i don't think i would mind doing any, but which would give me a better advantage in terms of career options? (i want to make money in the future lol)

how hard is it to get a 75+ wam in commerce to someone who doesn't do business studies or economics? and vice versa to anyone who does a BA.

sorry if this is lowkey just an annoying rant, i'm just stressed and overthinking everything
