thoughts on my subjects (pls im struggling so hard) (1 Viewer)

ok so first im like an average student, good at bio, horror at maths and the rest is just average like A's and B's.
I am pretty decent in english ive gotten 95% as an average this semester so im thinking english advanced, maths im thinking ext 1 and hope that theres enough spots for me to drop down and im atcually gonna grind so hard and then.. ALL 3 sciences.
I have covered most of bio topics alr in yr10 so not much problem with bio, ofc i need to go more in depth but i got bio in the bag (hopefully), chemistry i do decent at im not like extraordinary but i perform decently well but its only yr 10 so it dont matter that much, also physics i got highest in my class evrytime but idk cuz my maths isnt that strong but again im willing to work hard over the next half of the year

1u extension maths
2u advanced maths
2u accelerated language
2u chem
2u bio
2u physics
= 13units (2units finished early in yr11)
THATS IT BUT IM ALSO CONSIDERING DROPPING SOMETHING FOR SCIENCE EXTENSION IN YR12. GUYS PLEASE DROP STUDY TECHNIQUES, QHAT I SHOULD FOCUS ON, HOW I CAN EXCEL IN PRELIM CONTENT NEXT YEAR, I REALLY WANNA SET MYSELF UP FOR SUCCESS BCZ I KNOW I WONT HAVE ENOUGH TIME NEXT YEAR THANKS GUYS!!

first just chill a bit cause prelims is just practice so don't overwork urself. As long as u enjoy ur subjects you still have plenty of time to improve so dw. If u want to in the holidays, maybe start learning some content ahead for u subjects so that u can spend next year just doing practice questions. As long as u manage ur time and don't start assessments later (like what I'm doing right now) then u should be fine

Woah can’t believe you’re excelling in all 3 sciences bro 🫣. you’re still in y10 right? Tbh u shouldn’t stress too much in y11 since it’s just a practice round of y12 ( but still try to do well). I wouldn’t recommend dropping any of ur subjects, if anything u should add as much as u can so u have the flexibility to assess what u can actually manage once ur in y12 as ur interested & time u can dedicate may change. So even if u go over 12 units it’s fine ( I had a friend do 16 all y11 then drop to in y12)- that way in the long-term it‘d be less stressful although maybe stressful in y11 ( even add on ext Eng if u can). Thats just my opinion tho…

I mean it should be fine. Like there's like at least 5 people in my grade doing all 3 sciences so as long as they work hard they should be fine

I agree, especially since og seems like a stem based student plus if they do find it difficult they could just drop whatever that is causing them problems. If they want and they can, what is really stopping them?
