On Presidents' Day, the Denver Nuggets made the fated move for which NBA enthusiasts have been waiting. Carmelo Anthony has been shipped to the N.Y. Knicks as the axis of a three-team, 12-player trade. Yet, the gallery of naysayers remain, reports ESPN and The Sporting News. The price the Knicks paid for Anthony may have been too severe, as a hard salary cap may be in the league's immediate future.
