looking for a future in maybe maths or physics and i would like to know what this involves![]()
okay thank you, i still havent really decided between usyd or unsw or maybe even uts, so i HAD actually been looking at dalyell as maybe a swaying factor, but thats good to know that it's kinda irrelevantis it worth it? I guess so, if ur going to go to usyd anyway then you might as well accept Dalyell. but donāt make your uni decision based on Dalyell as a factor it is not important at all.
what Dalyell does is it replaces 6 credit points of OLEs (typically online broad units) with 12 credit points of Dalyell units (generally pretty annoying broad bs units) - this does mean you miss out on one elective space which is a thing I guess. you also get access to a $2k scholarship for if you go on exchange which is actually pretty nice because it means you can basically go on a free holiday with one of the experience OLEs
basically you might as well take it when u start at usyd and then drop it later if it doesnāt work nicely with your degree, but donāt let it influence ur uni decisions
usyd is definitely very good for exchange, theyāre really pushing it hard atm so thereās a lot of scholarships/benefits available and support for organising everything. it is still tough to work with your degree though, Iāve tried to make it work twice but itās just so tough to organise the corresponding unitsokay thank you, i still havent really decided between usyd or unsw or maybe even uts, so i HAD actually been looking at dalyell as maybe a swaying factor, but thats good to know that it's kinda irrelevant

wdym tough to organise corresponding units,, like the exchange uni doesnt do certain subjects?usyd is definitely very good for exchange, theyāre really pushing it hard atm so thereās a lot of scholarships/benefits available and support for organising everything. it is still tough to work with your degree though, Iāve tried to make it work twice but itās just so tough to organise the corresponding units
