I'm so screwed. Not even cooked I'm goddamn charcoaled. I have 3 major works and I nearly threw up from the anxiety of looking at my history extension which is due in week 9 - only 5 weeks away!! I know everyone says 'oh just start' but how??? Literally how??? And maybe this would be easier if I had, y'know, a good friendship group to lean on, but unfortunately mine just spinelessly stood by whilst I was getting bullied until I had to fucking leave. I just keep spiralling over everything from my personal life to my school life this is shit.
Anyway that's my crash out for the week how are we all

i genuinely have like. no motivation to do english or chinese homework rn. reaching levels of apathy previously unknown to man. also dread!! because our chinese conitnuers class consists of 4 people including me and i'm one of the people who have had more than 5 years of formal education for chinese. and i scored lower than the other 3 for orals. DDDDDDDDDD i am going to collapse into a black hole and kill everything

I know this isn't the advice you want, but chinese continuers sounds awesome, wish we had it here (we only have French and Italian). Do you write in simplified or traditional? Sorry if that's a stupid question and you have permission to throw me into a black hole if it is, I was just translating a pdf a while back from chinese into english using google translate and it couldn't decide if the language was simplified or traditional chinese, which I'm sure affected the translation itself - so I'm kinda interested in it

3 major works is actually insane. The ’just start‘ advice is bs, I’d honestly say wait (but not too long!) until you’re in a better headspace and chip away at it bit by bit. Maybe schedule times in for when you’d like to solely focus on history ext (with rewards at the end e.g. An episode of a show)? That’s what I’m doing for my ext2 major work lol but I also feel so cooked cuz mine is ‘due’ (not officially, but a ’finished version’ by the end of term is needed). We’ll get through it somehow just think of how good it will be when it’s finally over!
