Hey there, sorry if this is the wrong place, i was just wondering if anyone could give me an atar prediction? Thankyou!! :)

SUBJECTS

Extension - 1 English
RANKS

1 (Final mark - 97%)
Extension - 2 English1 (Final Mark - 94%)
Chemistry4 (Final mark - 83%)
PDHPE1 (Final mark - 97%)
English advanced3 (Final mark - 93%)
Modern history1 (Final mark - 94%)
Note - All 'Final Marks' are just the end accumulative mark including for trialsSCHOOL - RANK - 400+

HSC PREDICTED MARKS - 90-95% (raw, not rlly sure with scaling and all that) for all subjects except for History which might be like 88%

Note - for the chem cohort its stronger than ever top mark was 98% for trials so idk will that be able to pull me up? Thankyou in advance!!

You also have to provide the amount of band 6’s per year for ur school. You’re definitely on the right track for a 94 because of your ranks but since your school is ranked 400+ the assessments might also be easier. Your final internal mark may get scaled down bc of that but I am not 100% sure. You just have to smash the hsc as much as you can.

Hi! I'm not an expert, but a 90-95 HSC mark in each of your subjects should probably put you on track to receive an ATAR of at least more than 97, probably >98. Have you predicted these marks yourself, or has your school predicted them for you?

The actual marks that you get from your school are not representative of your HSC mark, it's your rank that matters. Your HSC mark for each subject is an average of your actual examination mark (the mark that you get in your HSC exam, aligned) and your assessment mark (this one is based on your rank at school - if you were rank 1, you'd get the highest examination mark out of your cohort. If you were rank 2 in school, you'd get the 2nd highest examination mark, and so on. Keep in mind that this is still based on the actual HSC exams).

Since you're ranked 1 in 4/6 of your subjects, your performance in those subjects will not be affected by that of your peers, as you will get your own HSC mark as both your assessment mark and your exam mark. This puts you in a great position to maximise your HSC marks in these subjects. In chem and English, you're still ranked very high but your assessment mark will be affected by how your cohort does in the respective HSC exams. You should probably consider the number of band 6s achieved by your school in those subjects each year.

These results are looking very good though, so well done! I'm not sure if this is true so take it with a grain of salt, but I've heard that if you are the dux of your school, you might get bonus adjustment factors too, which will boost your selection rank when applying for unis, even if your ATAR isn't at 94.

Hm? Your school ranks are all solidified now, and they will determine your school assessment marks. There's no changing them now
