Thank you! I feel like the 2nd dot point hasn't been tested much but who knowsssssdoing practice essays or skeleton/dot point essays that cover most of the syllabus dot points is pretty cool for studying
perhaps just planning out key points can be easier if you don't feel like writing full essays and aren't aiming very high
e.g. Why were the Japanese defeated in WW2?
- Long term factor of US having far greater industrial capability: US naval blockade, Japan unable to transport materials back
- Allied strategies and superior technology: island hopping, code breaking, developing better tactics
- Japanese failures: Pearl Harbor, overstretching empire, Kantai Kessen/prioritising honour, army vs navy rivalry and lack of coordination
- Short term causes: allied bombing campaign, okinawa/iwo jima, a-bomb, soviet entry
since then you can at least know the general answer to questions (which should be able to get at least a band 4 especially if you have some examples to back it up and can form a coherent essay that answers the question. if you want to go higher memorise quotes and stats as well)
my predictions for conflict in the pacific: Allied strategies, impact on home fronts, Allied occupation
(but maybe doing predictions is bad, at least know a little bit for every dot point)
yess they haven't really tested it so maybe it's a sign?Thank you! I feel like the 2nd dot point hasn't been tested much but who knowsssss
