Hey just checking in with all you 25ers - how are we coping?? Kinda crazy that some of us have graduated already (my official grad is next Wed). Are we excited or just stressing about HSC? Honestly I don't really like that grad is before the HSC, because it's not like we can totally relax and celebrate until afterwards, but oh well :/

Probably one of the easier topics ngl, you'll be fine because it's pretty formulaic
Honestly, I've just been chipping through past papers, doing a couple questions a day. I'm trying my hardest not to stress and honestly, it will all work out.

Is integration hard? Someone ik was like I’ll be praying for u when u do it lol
I wouldn't say it's that hard. Sure, something like the reverse chain rule can be confusing at first, but it becomes second nature. From my experience, the difficulty lies in being able to have a genuine idea on what integration actually acheives. A perfect example is converting a rate into a single unit, such as being asked to find the volume of a tank such that you are provided the rate of which the tank is filling up at. In all honesty, as long as you really understand what is going on, you will be fine. From what I've seen is that topics like probability and finantial maths seem 'easier', yet consistently see quite low averages. I'd focus on covering all your bases and make sure that you are consistenly revising y11 concepts.

Yea, I wish it was like US schools where the last day is the bona fide last day of school, no stress, just holidays.

I studied my whole adv topic in 1 day. Skipped integration and differentiation :p, got like 86% for trials

Adv is not hard if your not cramming.

mind you all i did was the examples in the focus textbook, so i reckon you can easiily get band 6, if your consistent.
Bro why is everyone making it like it’s so easy to b6 😭

Admittedly scaling DOES help for advanced maths, but it also seems like the BoS populace greatly leans towards math ability compared to other subjects (maybe there’s a correlation between academic tryhard and level of math haha…I say with my 4 units of math)

yes #antienglishscparty. Like literally no one on here likes eng lol. But I'm glad my raw mark of like 46 can scale to a 73. Which honestly is pretty good

English tryhards are too busy reading smut and writing fan fics, to be on here or to spend time doing math
