Loooking for Geo exams for the new sylabus (1 Viewer)

Hey guys, as you're all aware, with the new syllabus, finding past exams can be challenging. Does anyone have the file for their school's geo trial or any other exams for the new curriculum that aren't the mock HSC?

Edit: just asking for trial papers, not comments on the curriculum and geography over the decades.

the old and new geography syllabus look pretty similar, youd probably still be able to do most of the old geography hsc exams

Nah they've changed quite a bit the focus is much more general, especially for Ecosystems and Rural and Urban Places. Structured Response is also new and hasn't been assessed before.

I'll try and get my teacher to give us a pdf, if anyone else could get their hands on their school's paper that would be much appreciated

I disagree with Dresden. Blaming poor results like a 93/100 on a trial just due to lack of stimulus material and practice exams is woke. spiderfan44, you are the percival among these mordreds

Maybe things have changed since I did the HSC (yes, I'll take the age jokes...I've heard them all - before you ask, unc did not snap), but when I did geography, we would do papers all the way back to the 80s to prepare! 'New syllabus?' Didn't matter! Perhaps it was just our mindsets back then - when we valued hard work and didn't have IA or whatever you guys call it to help out...and I don't want to sound like an old man...but I would build a bridge and get over it! Dresden and Lachlan, geography is geography is geography! 1967, 1941, 1995, 2008, 2025...who cares! A geography HSC paper will prepare you for your HSC paper no matter what. I think this year, CSSA and Independent both made exams. Now that the security period is over, maybe ask your teacher to purchase the two company papers.

Independent, but my teacher brought the CSSA after the security period ended.

Those companies are quite strict on maintaining their intellectual property. So I wouldn't risk it.
